Thank you, Barisan National.

Everything has come to an end when I woke up today. Flipping through newspapers, we seem to have mistaken Barisan National’s notion of fairness.

I may have thought too much. There was no ballot for foreign workers. Simply because those foreign workers on the bus were staffs for polling station.

There was no such thing as money politics, there was only financial help to ease the burden of low-income group. Perhaps it’s a fuel allowance for everyone who went back home to fulfill their civic duty. I must have mistaken you.

So it was TNB’s responsibility for the power outage, yet its share price was soaring today? Everyone said you took advantage of power cut to deceive the number of votes, I know, we can’t blame it on you. Such frequent outages, how can we light up the significant KLCC? Such unreliable power supply, how would that support your notion of pursuing stability? I have an idea. Why don’t you authorise Lynas to take over TNB? I heard it has no margin of error in management.

[ Upon thorough investigation, it has been confirmed that there was no power outage, and it had nothing to do with TNB. Please accept my sincere apologies over the misunderstanding. ]

So the missing of 43 mail-in ballot papers was a special case. The sudden surge of new voters raised was untrue. I think I should have just believe it, because you are the greatest and the only government in Malaysia’s history.

But, I don’t understand.

I have checked today’s election result. You have won 133 seats over the total number of 222 parliament seats, extending your 56-year reign of power, making it one of the world’s longest-serving government. The 20% of parliamentary majority managed to fend off your opposition PKR that has won 89 seats, around 40% of total parliament seats.

Despite invalid ballot, you have won 47.5% out of the total number of 10,836,457 votes, in other words, it’s 5,147,632 votes only. On the contrary, PKR won 5,486,405 votes, which was 50.6% with a majority close to 350,000 votes, has lost the election.

May I know why?

Yes, why? More than half of the citizens has voted for their preferred party, yet the power in the congress is merely 40%. You have won less than 50% of the votes, but still able to dominate the future of our country?

Oh I see, it’s gerrymandering. Such phenomena was caused by the differences in total number of people on each constituency. Don’t you think it was way too much?

Tengku Adnan represented 9,943 voters in Putrajaya, hence Teresa Kok stood for 61,500 voters in Seputeh.

It may seem acceptable.

But again, how would you be able to justify voters’ rights in Putrajaya is 6 times more important than Seputeh voters?

It can’t be the only vote of Teresa Kok worth more than other members of the Parliament during a congress meeting? As if she voted in favour of a matter, you’ll need at least 6 members to vote against her? Ahhh!

Perhaps the voters in Seputeh only need to pay one-sixth of the tax? Or only one-sixth of car tax? Ahhh!

Since there was none of the above, why would the voters’ rights in Seputeh has to be weaker than Putrajaya? Do we need to differentiate the rights of each voter by area?

I can’t say you are dirty, or I have any evidence to prove you wrong. Be that alone, I can assure that you are unfair.

If you’re dare to say that was a fair election, why can’t the opposition rules while most of us has voted for it?

Why must we obey to you who were elected by the minority?

You have control in the whole election system. Hiding behind an unfair constituency demarcation system grant you to win this election. Why don’t you just abolish it and practice dictatorship instead of fake democracy?

I refused to accept you. Nonetheless, I have to thank you.

It’s you that has gathered all of us in regardless of race, religion, or language. You are now our common foe.

Don’t overlook the power of democracy. One day, it all adds up to the power to give you a greater fight back. Don’t bother to find ways to trick us. When the time comes, everything will be impossible to stop!

Here’s to all heartbreaking democracy fighters, democracy wasn’t dead yet. It chose to live in everyone’s heart, that allowed us to gather a greater force.

True democracy will ultimately prevail. Where there is pain, there is a way of keeping our hope in a world that was getting more evil as the time goes by.
